Process:
This year's Grade 8 Promotion Ceremony is being held in the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School gymnasium. The ceremony will begin at 10AM on Thursday June 13. Attendance at promotion will require a ticket. Each participant's family may secure up to four tickets. Please note that all tickets are general admission and thus do not afford the holder an assigned seat. To guarantee that our ticketing process is equitable for all families, we will need to release and void any tickets that exceed the four ticket limit for a family. Each audience member will need to provide a printed ticket to gain access to the ceremony. Please note that parking details will be forthcoming.
Following the ceremony, our CMS staff would love to spend time with you and wish your child well. Please plan on joining us in the PWHS cafeteria for some light refreshments and conversation. Parents are encouraged to take their child home with them following the reception. For students who do not have a ride home, transportation will be provided for them from the PWHS campus at 11:45AM.
How Do I Secure Tickets?
Tickets will be available beginning this Friday, 5/24, @ 1PM. To secure tickets, go to the web address: cmspatriots.ticketleap.com. Once there: 1) Click on CMS Grade 8 Promotion Ceremony 2) Click on Register 3) In the available drop down box, click on the number of tickets you need 4) click on Register 5) Complete all the required fields 6) Click on Register 7) Tickets will be emailed to you 8) Print tickets and bring them to the ceremony for admittance. This window for securing tickets will close at 11PM on Thursday, June 6.
What Should I Do With My Tickets?
You will receive your tickets via the email address you provide during the registration process. Please print out a ticket for each person attending. Every attendee will need to present a printed ticket at the ceremony. Tickets will be checked in at the door. Please note, if a family secures more than 4 tickets or if the student's name does not match one of our grade 8 students, those tickets will be released back into circulation the next day. Thank you for working with us to guarantee that all families have an equal opportunity to attend their child's promotion ceremony.
What If We Have Other Family members (exceeding our 4 ticket limit) Who Would Like To Attend?:
Securing tickets for promotion will close at midnight on June 6. Beginning @ 4PM on June 7, we will make two additional tickets available to families on a first come first served basis. Please follow the above procedure to secure up to two additional tickets if you need them. The window for securing these additional tickets will close on Tuesday June 11 @ 11PM.
