Grade 8 Promotion Tickets
As I shared in an earlier message, this year's Grade 8 Promotion will require tickets (free) for attendance. This change is being implemented to improve our past auditorium seating practices and provide a safe and organized environment for our students and parents. This new practice has been vetted through our CMS PTO. Please review the information below regarding the ticketing process. The online ticket securing site will be open to families beginning @ 8:00AM on Saturday May 12.
Process:
The 2018 CMS Grade 8 Promotion is Wednesday, June 13 at 9:15AM. Through Ticket Leap each participant's family may secure up to 2 tickets (no charge) for the ceremony. Please attempt to secure seats that are adjacent to occupied seats (please don't leave an open seat next to an occupied seat). Tickets will be released and become void if more than 2 tickets are secured by a family. Each audience member will need to provide a printed ticket to gain access to the ceremony.
How Do I Secure Tickets?:
Go to the web address: cmspatriots.ticketleap.com. Once there, choose CMS Grade 8 Promotion Ceremony. You can choose your seats or let the program choose the best seats available. After making your choice, enter the number of tickets you need. Remember each family can access a maximum of 2 seats. To finalize your ticket request, please complete the fields asking for your name, email address, phone number, and your student's name. You will receive your tickets via the email address you provide and will need to print a hard copy for each person attending.
What Should I Do With My Tickets?:
You will receive your tickets via the email address you provide during the reservation process. Please print out a ticket for each person attending. Every attendee will need to present a printed ticket in order to enter the auditorium. Tickets will be checked in at the door. Please note, if a family secures more than 2 tickets or if the student's name does not match one of our eighth grade students, those tickets will be released back into circulation the next day. Thank you for working with us to guarantee that all families have an equal opportunity to attend their child's promotion ceremony.
What If We Have Other Family Members/Neighbors/Friends/Other People (exceeding our 2 ticket limit) Who Would Like To Attend?:
Securing tickets online for this show will close on Monday, 6/11. We will be facilitating a live stream of the ceremony in designated classrooms. Any person who wishes to attend, but does not have a ticket, will be permitted to view the ceremony in one of these designated areas. These areas will be defined on June 13.
If I also have a sixth or seventh grade CMS student, can they attend the ceremony?:
Due to our seating challenges, grade 6 & grade 7 students will not be permitted to attend the ceremony. Additionally, those students will be engaged in final exams on Wednesday June 13.
